Valley Senior Living Foundation’s Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper

- 12-16 hours/week, Monday – Friday
- Starting wage is between $17.70 and $21.65

The Administrative Assistant is to provide assistance to the Director of Development which includes management of donor records, accounting for the Foundation, building relationships, assistance with communications and events.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- High school graduate or GED.
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, QuickBooks and Donor Software.
- Experience in donor relations or relevant experience in an administrative assistant position
FUNCTIONS
- Reconcile financial records at month end with assistance from the Chief Financial Officer.
- Record approved invoices through accounts payable in accounting software.
- Responsible for donor recognition to include merge of thank you letters and related donor correspondence
- Monthly post revenue to accounting software to various general ledger accounts based on fund report generated from donor software.
- Complete a receipt for contributions received identifying appropriate fund code and enter in donor software.
- Develop and maintain all records relating to donor information. Maintaining confidentiality of all pertinent information.
- Interact with residents, residents’ representatives, staff, board members, volunteers, donors, and prospects.
