What is Giving Hearts Day?
Giving Hearts Day is a 24-hour online fundraiser for non-profit charities in North Dakota and western Minnesota. This event is sponsored by the Dakota Medical Foundation (DMF) and Impact Foundation. Giving Hearts Day is February 9, 2023 and donations can be scheduled in advance or gifts can be given on this one big day of giving!

What does Giving Hearts Day mean for Valley Senior Living?
The Valley Senior Living Foundation participates in Giving Hearts Day with all proceeds going to support intergenerational programming at Valley Senior Living care communities. Our intergenerational programs include the Grand Forks Head Start classroom at Valley Senior Living on 42nd, scheduled and spontaneous intergenerational activities at all care communities, and connections with elementary classrooms from throughout the Grand Forks area allowing for onsite activities, onsite entertainment from theatrical productions and musical groups, outings to activities with youth and more. Through these interactions, life enriching experiences are created for the generations and mutually beneficial relationships are fostered.
